WHERE AND WHEN: The West Pioneer Swap Meet will take place Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM on the grounds of the Puyallup United Methodist Church at 1919 West Pioneer in Puyallup WA. The Swap Meet will take place in the front parking lot visible from Pioneer Ave. The back parking lot will be reserved for vendor vehicles and will be supervised. Both parking lots are paved. Shopper parking will be available on the west side of the church. There is also on-street parking nearby. This is a one-day event.
VENDOR FEES AND SPACE: Vendor stalls are the equivalent of two parking spaces, for a total of 20 feet by 15 feet, for a fee of $50. Food trucks welcome. Larger stalls have additional width (30 feet wide for $75, 40 feet for $100, etc.). Vendors can share a stall with a friend if they don’t have enough items to fill their space.
THINGS TO KNOW: Bathrooms in the church will be available for use. There will be no water or power hookups available for vendors in the sale area. Generators welcome for food trucks. There will be no cash machines available. You must bring your own tables, chairs, racks, etc. Pop-up covers are acceptable. No spikes allowed in blacktop. You must take all garbage and left over items with you when you leave at the end of the day.
WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT SELL: No alcohol, firearms, weapons, knives or blades. No drugs, legal or illegal, their derivatives (CBD etc.) or paraphernalia. No pornography of any kind. Anything else you sell must be legally yours. Just about anything goes: crafts, tools, housewares, car parts, garage sale items, toys, quilts, vintage items, plants, mufflers, food, etc. Upon receiving application forms, we will let you know if there are problems.
HOW TO SIGN UP: Fill out the application form found on the menu of this website www.puyallupuwf.com and it will automatically send it to our email. We will then email you the link for making payment. Payment will be via debit or credit card and is nonrefundable. We have 35 stalls available, and they are offered on a first-come first-served basis. WHAT IF IT RAINS: We will be outside and plan to go rain or shine. Bring your pop-up! However, if it is a deluge that is reported to downpour all day, we will cancel as a last resort. If so, you will receive a full refund.
SET UP AND TAKE DOWN: Stalls will be available at 7:00 AM. Vehicles may drive up to stalls until 8:45. Then vendors move vehicles to the rear parking lot. Vendor parking lot will be supervised all day. Shut down and pack up will begin at 3:30. No vehicles will be allowed in the sale area between 9:00 and 3:30. It will be expected that all garbage and left over items will leave with you.
DO YOU NEED A BUSINESS LICENSE OR TO PAY TAXES: We do not require a business license if you consider yourself a garage seller type. Business owners and food sellers, you are expected to know and be responsible for your expectations in these areas. This includes food handlers' cards.
FYI: We have a permit from the city of Puyallup to run this event.

WHO IS RUNNING THIS EVENT: Puyallup United Women in Faith is a fellowship of Women who meet at Puyallup United Methodist Church. As a part of the National and Global UWF organization, we support programs in the United States and around the world that improve life for women, children and youth, and their communities. The purpose of the Swap Meet is to generate funds for the non-profits we support. In Pierce County we donate funds to Associated Ministries, Family Renewal Shelter, Habitat for Humanity, My Sister’s Pantry, Nourish Pierce County, Puyallup Food Bank, Tacoma Community House, St Francis House, The S.T.A.R.T. Program at Good Sam Hospital, and Oasis Youth Center. Monetary gifts are also sent to National United Women in Faith for Global Mission support.
